He's all boy...

I just wanted to share a funny story from my little Nolan. Last night he was sitting on the couch with Mike watching football. It was bedtime and I yelled out for him to clean up his toys. He looked back at me and without a pause said "I'm watching football mom!" I really need a girl in my life!!!!!

Nolan is 29 months...

Well, another month older in age... seems like another ten years older in attitude. Nolan is growing up so quick and his independency and attitude are killing me. He is such a fun kid. Mike and I laugh at him constantly. He is starting to say so much. Each day he will say something new and I wonder where he learns this stuff. He is getting so smart. He know parts of his ABC's, he can count to 10 and he knows all his colors and some shapes. He is still going to preschool and is loving it. Today was a huge milestone for us. I dropped him off at school and he did not even cry... he looked back from his table said "mommy" and kept on playing. I am so happy he is liking it. He has so many friends that he talks about all the time... especially all the girls! We had his 1st parent teacher conference last week and they said he is so loving and caring. They also called him the class clown... Imagine that! He is always making someone laugh.

As for Nolan and Carson... he is still rough and tough with his brother. Often times a hug turns into a wrestling match and playtime turns into a brawl. But in the end, he loves him more than anything... he misses him when he is not around! He likes to make his "bubby" laugh and that makes me so happy! I love the bond they are forming!

Well, another fun month with my boys... time is flying by but I am loving every minute of it!

Happy 7 months Carson!!!!

My monkey is 7 months... I can hardly grasp the thought of it! I am so sad to think that my baby boy is getting so big and is almost on the move. He is growing so big and is such a handful! He is a very nosey child. He loves to watch everything around him and wants to be held so he can get a better look at it all! He loves to watch Nolan. They are so funny together. If Carson is crying I send Nolan to the rescue. Nolan will say "I go make bubby laugh mommy" and he always succeeds! Carson thinks Nolan is a hoot! I love to watch them play!

Carson is breaking his 5th tooth. He is well over 20lbs at this point and is definatley going to be on the move soon! He is getting up on all 4's and rocks back and forth right before he falls on his face! He goes everywhere in the house with his walker and wants to run with the big boys so bad!

I know my little guy has to grow up and that makes me very sad but I love all the new things that growing up brings. I love his laugh, his monkey noises, his big blue eyes, the way he cries for me when I walk into the room! I love all of this. I am so thankful for my little guy!

Sorry for the picture overload... I can't pick just one!

Happy Birthday Konner!

My nephew Konner turned 4 years old Last weekend. It is so hard to believe he is already 4! Seems like yesterday he was born. Here are a few pics from his birthday party. It was so much fun. They had a bounce house with a slide, lots of good food and cupcakes and even a horse ride for the kids. Nolan loves horses so this was right up his alley! Thanks Konner for a fun party!

Trick or Treat Part 2

After trick or treating we had a neighborhood halloween party for the kids. We had lots of food, games, and fun! Nolan had so much fun playing with all the kids in the neighborhood. We had a huge bonfire and our friends brought cool games for the kids. We had sack races, bean bag tosses, and a big barrell of wood chips that the kids could dig for prizes. Nolan ate so much candy that night he looked like the Tazmania devil when we finally got him in the house for bed! It was a fun halloween!

Trick or Treat! Part 1

I hope everyone had a fun halloween! We had a very busy one but a really fun one! We started the day by trick or treating to both grandparent's houses. Since our night would be so busy, we really wanted the boys to show off to their grandparents! We started at Grandma and Papaw Pinti's house. Nolan acted like a pro! He marched right up to the door and knocked hard saying "kncok, knock!". When Grandma opened the door she said "Trick or Treat" without a hesitation Nolan stuck his foot up and said "Smell my feet" He really is a hoot! Grandma had a really cool present with books, a coloring book and even a little money for the boys! Nolan was very thankful but searched beyond that for the candy! In the bottom of the bag was a pack of M&M's... then he was satisifed! He opened it right up and began eating! He now thought this was the coolest holiday ever!

We then left there and headed to Nana and Pawpaw's house. They were very surprised to see the boys and also had lots of treats for the boys. Even Carson got a lollipop (thanks to nana and pawpaw)! Nolan was so excited to show off his fireman costume to pawpaw... they are real buddies!

After dinner we took our boys around to a few more houses in our neighborhood! A few of the houses just left candy on the doorstep so they could also go trick or treating. I would tell Nolan to only get one piece. The 1st house we went to he picked 1 piece and turned around 5 more times looking at me saying"1 more mommy" I had to laugh!
My sweet little guys...

Off to trick or treat!Helping himself to "just 1 more piece!"After trick or treat we had a neighborhood halloween party. Stay tuned for pictures from that! Sorry about the halloween overload... The boys were too cute to resist taking all these pics!

Trunk or Treat!!!!

Thursday Nolan's school had a Trunk or Treat for some of the older preschool kids. Nolan and I went and helped pass out candy. It was a really fun time. Before the kids came I was prepping Nolan on what to do. Everytime I would tell him the kids would say "Trick or Treat", Nolan would immediately stop and pull his little foot up and say "smell my feet" and literally smell his own feet! He was so cute! I was worried that he would be selfish and not want to give the kids his candy but he did really well and loved passing out the candy to all the cool costumes!
