And he's off...

and I am going NUTS!!! Carson started to crawl this week. It is by far the most ungraceful crawl I have ever seen but it gets him where he wants to go, in a hurry, and all by himself! I have been trying to wrap presents all morning with no luck due to this new milestone! So it may be a un-wrapped gift year for us!!! Wish me luck... the fun has just begun!!!!! I'll post pics later!!!!

All I want for Christmas...

After Thanksgiving, while in West Virginia we took the boys to see Santa Clause. I was so surprised how well Nolan did. Nolan loved him. Carson... not so much! Nolan was so anxious when we got there but when we got in line, he ran right over got on his lap and told him what he wanted for Christmas... TINKERBELL STICKERS! Yes, my little boy (whose is ALL boy) wants Tinkerbell stickers from Santa. Carson was so beside himself. Truthfully, I am not even sure he knows whose lap he is on but he cried because mommy left him! Nothing wrong with a little mommy's boy... or 2! Here it is... the classic Santa picture!

For Nolan's 1st Christmas I took my most favorite picture yet... so I had to do it again with Carson. My boys may hate me for this when they get older but I love it...

and he did not even pee-pee on me!

It's gonna be a long Christmas...

We put up and decorated our Christmas tree this weekend. Since then, we have re-decorated it about 20 times! Nolan can not wait to get up in the morning and destroy my Christmas tree. He thinks all the ornaments are balls. He waits til we are not looking and then sneaks over to take another one off the tree. I have threatened him with his life and he still does it. We may not have a tree come Christmas! Here are a few pics from our decorating disaster....

Putting the angel on the tree...

Nolan putting his 1st baby ornament on the tree...The boys...And this picture explains it all!!!!

A little town outside of Charlotte transisitoned to Christmasville this past weekend. They had lost of fun activities for the kids. They had a Grinch who told stories to the children, horse carriage rides, train rides, christmas programs (starring our very own Jordan Sanders!!!) and even had a little snow to play in! The kids had a blast. Here are a few pics from the weekend!

Happy Turkey day...

a little late! I am so far behind on post so bare with me. For Thanksgiving as tradition, we packed up the boys and invaded The Pinti's in West Viriginia. Mike's Aunt Pam and Uncle Joe are always so welcoming of us and our gang. It was a great weekend. We ate, ate, and ate some more. We shopped til we dropped and then came back to eat some more. It was so nice to visit with the Pinti family. Thanks toJoe and Pam for housing our crazy crew! It was busy that I forgot to take pictures... can you hardly believe that?!?!? Here are just a couple I shot on Thanksgiving day!

He's all boy...

I just wanted to share a funny story from my little Nolan. Last night he was sitting on the couch with Mike watching football. It was bedtime and I yelled out for him to clean up his toys. He looked back at me and without a pause said "I'm watching football mom!" I really need a girl in my life!!!!!

Nolan is 29 months...

Well, another month older in age... seems like another ten years older in attitude. Nolan is growing up so quick and his independency and attitude are killing me. He is such a fun kid. Mike and I laugh at him constantly. He is starting to say so much. Each day he will say something new and I wonder where he learns this stuff. He is getting so smart. He know parts of his ABC's, he can count to 10 and he knows all his colors and some shapes. He is still going to preschool and is loving it. Today was a huge milestone for us. I dropped him off at school and he did not even cry... he looked back from his table said "mommy" and kept on playing. I am so happy he is liking it. He has so many friends that he talks about all the time... especially all the girls! We had his 1st parent teacher conference last week and they said he is so loving and caring. They also called him the class clown... Imagine that! He is always making someone laugh.

As for Nolan and Carson... he is still rough and tough with his brother. Often times a hug turns into a wrestling match and playtime turns into a brawl. But in the end, he loves him more than anything... he misses him when he is not around! He likes to make his "bubby" laugh and that makes me so happy! I love the bond they are forming!

Well, another fun month with my boys... time is flying by but I am loving every minute of it!

Happy 7 months Carson!!!!

My monkey is 7 months... I can hardly grasp the thought of it! I am so sad to think that my baby boy is getting so big and is almost on the move. He is growing so big and is such a handful! He is a very nosey child. He loves to watch everything around him and wants to be held so he can get a better look at it all! He loves to watch Nolan. They are so funny together. If Carson is crying I send Nolan to the rescue. Nolan will say "I go make bubby laugh mommy" and he always succeeds! Carson thinks Nolan is a hoot! I love to watch them play!

Carson is breaking his 5th tooth. He is well over 20lbs at this point and is definatley going to be on the move soon! He is getting up on all 4's and rocks back and forth right before he falls on his face! He goes everywhere in the house with his walker and wants to run with the big boys so bad!

I know my little guy has to grow up and that makes me very sad but I love all the new things that growing up brings. I love his laugh, his monkey noises, his big blue eyes, the way he cries for me when I walk into the room! I love all of this. I am so thankful for my little guy!

Sorry for the picture overload... I can't pick just one!

Happy Birthday Konner!

My nephew Konner turned 4 years old Last weekend. It is so hard to believe he is already 4! Seems like yesterday he was born. Here are a few pics from his birthday party. It was so much fun. They had a bounce house with a slide, lots of good food and cupcakes and even a horse ride for the kids. Nolan loves horses so this was right up his alley! Thanks Konner for a fun party!

The birthday boy...
Nolan on the horse... He is still talking about this horse ride!
Do you think he enjoyed it?!?!?
Mike and Carson helping themselves to a nap... Party animals!!!!

Trick or Treat Part 2

After trick or treating we had a neighborhood halloween party for the kids. We had lots of food, games, and fun! Nolan had so much fun playing with all the kids in the neighborhood. We had a huge bonfire and our friends brought cool games for the kids. We had sack races, bean bag tosses, and a big barrell of wood chips that the kids could dig for prizes. Nolan ate so much candy that night he looked like the Tazmania devil when we finally got him in the house for bed! It was a fun halloween!
Nolan and his girlfriend from school (This was the end of the night... notice the messy face from all the candy!)...
