Fun day with friends...

A few weekends ago, we went to Carowinds with some friends of ours. They have a little boy that is 1 year older than Nolan. We do not see each other very often so it was such a nice visit. Devin and Nolan got along great. They were so cute playing with each other. They have a halloween theme during the month of October and it is really designed for the kids. They have a pumpkin patch, trick or treat area and lots of spooky decorations.

Nolan and DevinNolan on the merry-go-ride...

They have a minature roller coaster that I took Nolan on over the summer and he hated it... Mike did not know he had already rode it and asked him if he wanted to ride it and Nolan said YES! I could not belive it. It was so cute. He held his hands in the air the whole way up the hill then got a little scared and took them down...

Up the hill... Hands up!

and... I'm not so sure about this now!The boys on the boats... They were so cute! After riding the rides, we headed over to the pumpkin patch where the boys could pick out a pumpkin. Nolan, of course, started picking them up and throwing them like they were balls. When I finally got him to stop that, he started kicking them... WHAT A BOY!

Looking for a good one...

This is the one!

My lil' ham...

Makes me sad...

to know how big Nolan is getting. A friend of mine did this on her blog and I thought it would be cute to see how Nolan has changed over the years. Here is a look at Nolan's past halloween's!

Elmo live...

What a great show! Nolan's preschool took a field trip to Sesame Street live. This was right up Nolan's ally! He loves Elmo. Nolan took "Gammaw" with us since he does not get to see her that often anymore. It was such a fun day with my big boy! If you get a chance to see this show I strongly encourage you to go! It was fantastic!

Nolan and "Gammaw" (He can't say Grandma yet)

A few shots of the show...Cookie Monster wanted to be a fireman when he grows up... Nolan thought that was so cool since he is also going to be a fireman for halloween!

Pumpkin Party...

A few week ago (Yes, I am that far behind), I had a few of Nolan's friends over to paint pumpkins and decorate cupcakes. It was so much fun. We started the day with painting halloween masks. Each kid got to pick a mask and paint it. It was a lot of fun for the kids but a huge clean-up for the parents :) Then we decorated cupcakes with icing, candy pieces, and sprinkles. Of course they loved this part... the eating part! Then each kid brought a pumpkin and they all decorated them with stickers. It was a great time for the kids.

Too cute to SPOOK!

I took a few pics of the boys and their pumpkins. They turned out so cute that I just had to share!
My lil' pumpkins...

My lil' piggy!

Monday was Carson's 6 month check-up. It went really well. He is growing like a weed... tall and wide! When we got into the office I went to take Carson out for the nurse and she said, "Wow, he could be a sumo-baby!" Now, I know my baby is chunky but I would not say SUMO SIZE! He got a good report. He is now 19lbs 3oz. and is 27 1/2 in. long. The Dr. was not concerned with his weight because he grew 2 1/2 in! He said that is a big growth spurt! He was 75% for weight and 80% for height. He is our lil' porker! The Dr. said we could start some fruits and veggies this month! We started carrots that night and he LOVED them. He has always hated the cereal and literally gags when he eats them so this is a treat for him! I am so happy my little guy is growing so well. Here are a few pictures of his first veggie!

1st taste of carrots!
I like that!
He is also starting to hold his bottle! Mommy and dada are loving this! Our schedules get so crazy sometimes that we really need him to feed himself most mornings! Poor kid.. but as you can see he is happy as long as he gets a bottle!

Disney on Ice

This weekend Me, Nolan, Aunt Jen, and B went to see Disney on Ice. This is what we got B for his 3rd B-day and I thought it would be fun to have a day out with the big boys! We woke up early in the morning and took the train downtown, had lunch and then off we went to the show! We had good seats and the boys sat in amazement the whole show! I love doing things like this with the boys! Nolan was so cute. When Mickey came out on stage, Nolan waved and said "Hey Mickey" over and over. I think in his little mind, he was the only boy there and Mickey came to see only him! I loved watching him! When the show was over, Nolan just kept waving and saying "Bye Tinkerbell" We really had a good time!

Here is a 6 month comparison of the boys... What do you think????

Just a few cute ones!!!

Here are a few I have taken over the past few weeks of my little guys!

Whose like this toy more????
My lil' monkey...
And Nolan bug...

Take me out to the ballgame...

Tuesday night I took the boys to my nephew's baseball game. He is 4 years old and is pretty darn good! It was so much fun to watch these little tykes. Because Nolan is huge into hitting and throwing balls right now, he was super excited to go watch. He talked about it all day. We took his t-ball set and let him play while we were there. He made a friend and they hit the ball together. It was really cute. Because my camera is broke I could not get a shot of Konner hitting but here are a few of the game...
Nolan and Konner, best buds...

Nolan hitting the ball... Look at how serious he is. He looks like he does this often HAHAHA (EVERYDAY, ALL DAY). He is so funny. When he hits the ball, he throws the bat and knocks over the tee then takes off running, slides on the ground and yells "Homerun!" We may have a baseball player on our hands!!!And even Carson enjoyed watching cousin Konner!
