Fun in the sun...
While at Charleston we decided to take advantage of the warm weather and head to the beach! This was the boy's 1st time this season. Last year Nolan hated the sand and Carson was too little to enjoy it so I was a little hesitant not knowing how they would do.... They LOVED it! Carson took to it immediately and Nolan had a blast! We only stayed a short while due to Carson having a love affair with the sand. He ate so much sand it was making me sick to my stomach. He was eating it by the handfuls. He would stick a huge bite in and chew it then swallow it. It was sooo gross! The water was so cold but the boy's did not mind they went in without hesitation. And when they go in so do we... it was FREEZING! But all in all we had a lot of fun! I can't wait to go back soon when it is a little warmer.
Our family... still not any easier this year to get a good pic of 2 kiddos!

Lunch with Uncle Ben...
I love Charleston. It is such a pretty town. There are lots of really cool restaurants right on the water and the atmosphere was so cool. Uncle Ben took us to eat lunch one day right off the waterway. The boys had a blast watching the big fishing boats. There was great food, weather, and company. I think I found my retirement destination. Thanks Uncle Ben for a great trip...

Charleston continued...
Mike and I had heard that the Charleston aquarium was a must see. While we were there we thought we would swing in to let the boys see all the fish. It was fun but kind of boring. I would recommend it only if you love fish and that kind of thing. The Aquarium was right off the waterway so it was kind of cool to see the big boats and there was a big cruise ship. Nolan enjoyed that the most!

The boys thought the school of fish were pretty cool...
Carson loved to get right up next to the glass and watch the fish. It was really cute... he would just babble when they would swim past him!

Fun at the zoo...
Last week Mike and I took off work and headed to Charleston with the boys. We wanted to do some fun things with them since Nolan has had such a crummy month prior. We started our trip out at the Columbia Zoo. Nolan and Carson both love animals so I knew they would have a blast. They were so much fun to watch. When Nolan would see a new animal he would jump right out of the stroller to get a closer look. Carson had no idea what was going on but loved to look at the animals. It was so funny... once Carson's eye would catch one of the animals he would just start giggling and get really excited! It was so cute! The zoo has an all new meaning when you experience it through the eyes of two toddlers!
Check back... next stop Charleston Aquarium!
