Christmas Eve and the boys are getting antsy...

As tradition goes we spend Christmas Eve with the Pinti family. We started out this year at church and then spent the evening at the Pinti house eating good food, opening gifts and having fun. As usual the boys had a blast and it really set the Christmas mood. Poor Carson got the nasty flu bug that had been going around so he slept most of the day... at least he will not remeber he missed out on so much! As tradition stands in the Pinti house the youngest family member opens one present and then we go by age to eventually open all our gifts. The boys tolerated that for a little while but then got antsy about wanting to finish opening their gifts! Nolan really got into opening his presnts this year! I have to say Aunt Jen got the best gift of all... a whole bag of TINKERBELL things. You would have thought he opened a bag of money... lots of money! Nope, just Tinkerbell!

Our only family Christmas picture this year...
The boys opening presents...
Carson... the first of many presents he ate this year...
Daddy and Carson...
Silly boys...

There's always one in the bunch not looking... it was Bryce's turn this time!

When I was growing up, my parents would always let me open one presents before I went to bed. Somehow, they would always trick me into opening my christmas PJ's and it would usually have a book or something also. I decided to carry on this tradtion with my family. So when we got home fom Grandma and papaw's the boys opened their jammy's... (Carson decided to eat it instead.. again!)
Before going to bed I took a shot of the boys in their jammy's. I only took one and this is how it turned out... Nolan was looking for another present!
We have been prepping Nolan for a while that Santa is coming to bring him toys but he has to give him his binky's in exchange. So instead of cookies this year, we left binky's...
And after about 30 minutes of absolute ear screeching screaming, we gave him 1 binky and all the others went to Santa. At least we got rid of most of them. He use to go to bed with about 6 binky's... we will try again soon!!! Maybe we will give them to baby Kenneth when he gets here!
